Sourdough Selection
Delivery is normally between 3.00 and 6.30. We have a wide delivery area and, whilst we try to reach you at your chosen time, we will get to you as soon as possible. It takes 36 hours to make our Sourdough, so orders close 2/3 days before delivery - at 18.00 on Tuesday.
Semi-Sourdough Croissant. Using organic flour and free range eggs and Dawlicious raw milk from Amwell Place Farm in Hertford Heath. With a deeper flavour from a 48 hour, three stage build sourdough process and a little yeast added in the last mix to give that lightness of bake. Warm in the oven for 10 minutes 160°C for best results.
48 hours in the making, for ease of digestion and a deeper sourdough flavour. Ingredients: Organic wheat and rye flours, raw milk butter, water, raw milk, sugar, salt, yeast and egg. Semi-Sourdough Pain au Chocolat. Dark Belgium chocolate combined with organic flour and free range eggs and Dawlicious raw milk from Amwell Place Farm in Hertford Heath. Semi-Sourdough Pain aux Raisins. Earl Grey-soaked raisins and crème pâtissier combined with organic flour and free-range eggs and Dawlicious raw milk from Amwell Place Farm in Hertford Heath. With a deeper flavour from a 48 hour, three stage build sourdough process and a little yeast added in the last mix to give that lightness of bake. Ingredients: Organic wheat and rye flours, butter, water, raw milk, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, yeast and egg.

Organic Sourdough Table Loaf. A great everyday bread, a combination of organic white, wholemeal and rye flours. Ingredients: organic wheat, wholemeal and rye flours, water and salt. Allergens: Gluten£4.004.00 GBP
Organic Cornovii Sourdough. With a delicate wholemeal, nutty flavour. Made with 50% organic wholemeal Cornovii flour combined with organic white flour. Grown organically at Turners of Bytham and stone milled at Tuxford Windmill.
Cornovii is a population wheat, developed by Fred Price at Gothelney Farm, from seven heritage landrace wheats. Population wheats are ideally suited to organic farming, developing their own genetic characteristics, adapting and evolving to the local environment and soil. Wholemeal Cornovii is high in fibre and essential minerals and vitamins.
Ingredients: Organic, wholemeal, white and rye flours, water and salt. Allergens: Gluten

Bronze Award Winner - Organic Wholemeal and Rye Sourdough. A 50% mix of organic wholemeal and rye with organic white flour, producing a rich smooth flavour. You’ll be surprised how light and creamy the flavour despite the high proportion of wholemeal and rye. 24 hours in the making, for ease of digestion and a deeper flavour, aroma and crust.

Organic Sprouted Grains (Super Food) Sourdough. Organic white, wholemeal and rye flours, with sprouted wholegrain organic spelt, einkorn and naked oats giving an open crumb and adding texture and depth of flavour.

Sprouting (the simple process of stimulating germination by adding water) has a profound effect on the grain, increasing nutrient, mineral and antioxidants levels as well as the bioavailability of these to be absorbed by our bodies.
