For Thursday delivery to Welwyn Garden City, Oaklands, Datchworth, Watton at Stone and the villages toward Hertford. For Friday delivery to Hertford and Hertford Heath only.
Sourdough Selection
Delivery is normally between 3.00 and 6.30. We have a wide delivery area and, whilst we try to reach you at your chosen time, we will get to you as soon as possible. It takes 36 hours to make our Sourdough, so orders close 2/3 days before delivery - at 18.00 on Tuesday.
Semi-Sourdough Croissant. Using organic flour and free range eggs and Dawlicious raw milk from Amwell Place Farm in Hertford Heath. With a deeper flavour from a 48 hour, three stage build sourdough process and a little yeast added in the last mix to give that lightness of bake. Warm in the oven for 10 minutes 160°C for best results.
48 hours in the making, for ease of digestion and a deeper sourdough flavour. Ingredients: Organic wheat and rye flours, raw milk butter, water, raw milk, sugar, salt, yeast and egg. Semi-Sourdough Pain au Chocolat. Dark Belgium chocolate combined with organic flour and free range eggs and Dawlicious raw milk from Amwell Place Farm in Hertford Heath. Semi-Sourdough Pain aux Raisins. Earl Grey-soaked raisins and crème pâtissier combined with organic flour and free-range eggs and Dawlicious raw milk from Amwell Place Farm in Hertford Heath. With a deeper flavour from a 48 hour, three stage build sourdough process and a little yeast added in the last mix to give that lightness of bake. Ingredients: Organic wheat and rye flours, butter, water, raw milk, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, yeast and egg.

Organic Sourdough Table Loaf. A great everyday bread, a combination of organic white, wholemeal and rye flours. Ingredients: organic wheat, wholemeal and rye flours, water and salt. Allergens: Gluten£3.803.80 GBP
Organic OFP, Oak Farm Population, Sourdough. With a beautifully balanced slightly sweet, earthy and nutty flavour. Made with 50% organic wholemeal OFP combined with organic white flour. Grown organically by Turners of Bytham and stone milled at Tuxford Windmill. OFP is a population wheat, developed at Harper Adams University from crosses of principally UK landrace, pre-1900, wheat varieties, which gives it a wide genetic base. Population wheats develop their own flavour characteristics by adapting and evolving to the local environment and soil and are perfectly suited to organic wheat farming. Wholemeal OFP is high in fibre and essential minerals and vitamins. Ingredients: organic OFP and white flour, water and salt. Allergens: Gluten.

Organic Seeded Rye Sourdough Loaf. Organic wholemeal rye flour, packed with organic whole rye grains, toasted organic sunflower and organic pumpkin seeds. Lower gluten alternative, delicious on its own thinly sliced as bread or toast, fabulous with cheese. Marmite & Cheddar Sourdough. Some love it, some hate it. A golden loaf with a wonderful flavour combination of Marmite and mature west country cheddar. Delicious on its own as bread and lovely toasted, which intensifies the flavours.
Ingredients: organic wheat and rye flours, water, mature cheddar (cows milk), Marmite (yeast extract, salt, vegetable juice concentrate, vitamins (thiamin, niacin, B12, folic acid), natural flavourings) and salt. Allergens: Gluten, cows milk cheese, celery.£6.506.50 GBP
